Scaffolding-related fall results in worker injury

Falls from scaffolding are among the most common types of construction site accidents. The recent construction accident took place at about 2:30 p.m. on a Thursday. According to officials, a man was working at a former history and fire museum construction site. They said the man suddenly fell from scaffolding, although it was unclear how far he fell. 

The construction worker suffered injuries in the fall, but it was not immediately clear how severe the injuries were. First responders transported him to a hospital by helicopter for treatment. Authorities continued to investigate the cause of the construction site fall.
